When was the Quran revealed?

The Quran was revealed from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) between 610-632 ce. What is unique about the Quran, is that Allah did not reveal it to the Prophet (PBUH) all at once. Instead, He chose to reveal it in stages over the course of 23 years, in order to strategically train and cultivate the Prophet (PBUH) and his companions into the spiritual examples that they became.

Furthermore, this unique approach provided the blueprint needed for developing any righteous nation.

This blueprint is universal, and was designed to be used worldwide, as Prophet Muhammad was sent as the final Messenger of Allah, and sent to all of mankind. Furthermore, this unique process of revelation allowed the companions to more easily memorise the Quran verbatim, as it was revealed according to each circumstance that they were living. It also afforded the surest way of preservation of every letter of the scripture in their hearts, to be taught to their families and students, who taught it to their families and students, till now there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of Muslims who have every letter of this scripture memorised verbatim in the chests.

The other important point that’s worth mentioning here, is that although the Quran was revealed THAT long ago, it stood the test of time more than any other texts.

You can’t find any mistakes or contradictions in it, no matter how hard you try or how much time you spend.

But not only that, the recurring theme is that people start reading and studying the Quran with the intention of disapproving its legitimacy, and more often than not.. Then end up, you guessed it. Becoming Muslims.
